QPV provides training in photovoltaic module repair for Acciona Solar

On April 9, QPV, the Solar Energy Institute and the Public University of Navarra gave a training session to Acciona Solar’s operation and maintenance personnel in Spain. The objective of the course was to analyze the degradation suffered by photovoltaic modules after a decade in operation, as well as the main defects and anomalies that affect them. The main techniques for identifying and diagnosing module failures were discussed, as well as the procedures for correcting some of these defects in-situ, which is of particular interest in installations that have been in operation for many years or that do not have spare parts in stock.
